train to nowhere

WWII era German style Ty2 steam locomotive at the Radegast Memorial in Lodz, Poland. Radegast was a transfer point for Jews and other people captured by the Nazis. Here they were loaded into cattle carriages and transported to Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps. Fortunately this locomotive is not going anywhere anymore...
