as rain and clouds engulf the Stirling Ranges, fields of wheat have retained a great golden tone, which sets them right apart from the greyness of the mountains...

I love the colors in this image, which is the theme in this shot. My comment would be to shoot several compositions, moving the horizon more towards the top of the image and present more of the wheat, your subject, and less of the clouds. Now, if the clouds were dramatic then I would not change a thing. Well done!

@Monte Stevens: this is a fair enough comment Monte - i definitely still lack in terms of composition skills - i did crop the shot somewhat in post processing as it was showing a bit more sky and i agree with your comment - thanks for visiting :-)
