continuing on through the Stirling Ranges in Western Australia, I picked out a tree standing apart from all other native plants due to its lack of leaves... it looks really separated from its surroundings...
thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

Nice shot, I like the contrast between the jagged branches and the fluffy clouds, between the blue sky and the orangey tree trunk. I thnk the tree is too central in this shot though, it cuts the frame in half and feels uncomfortable to my eye.

Just looking at this tree makes me homesick... I am enjoying looking at your photos and seeing 'scenes' of home...
