this photo was taken one day when I went fishing with my friends in the early hours of the morning in Jurien Bay in Western Australia... well they were doing the fishing and I was snapping away with one of my first cameras and I managed to snap this sunrise... this is a case of the photo looking better than the moment itself - I was really amazed at the way it came out - it's one of my favourites...
thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

Great sunrise - I find the colours are usually better in the morning and this photo reinforces that - wow.

Awesome shot, a wonderful sky! Would be my favourite, too! :-)

Isn't that what photography really is? Making reality look better than it really does.
(Even a bad day of shooting is better than a good day of fishing, in my opinion.)

I must have been asleep the day you posted this shot... I certainly would have commented at the time. Yes!.. a fantastic sunrise and a great capture thereof. I know how rare such flaming sunrises are (although I hear they're more plentiful in Australia, and even more so in western Australia), and I'm sure it was a thrill to see and photograph that one. Thanks for sharing your wonderful image.

Have you changed the colors ? Is it natural ? Anyway, good job, fantastic sunrise, beautiful landscape, and great inspiration.

@Benoit Darrieux: hello! no i have not changed the colours - they are exactly as the camera captured them...
