still around Cape Leeuwin - to get fresh water to the Lighthouse a waterwheel and wooden flume were constructed... this photo shows a section of the flume still intact today with fresh water still running through - if I can find a shot of the waterwheel itself I will post it next...
thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

Wow, this is a wonderful photograph. The reflection of the sky inside the flume almost looks like separate pictures. Beautiful shot.

@Michael Rawluk: it was constructed around 1896 - that is when the Lighthouse first opened for operation... i will try posting a picture of the waterwheel - it looks really good...
