flame of the fallen

something simple this time... in Kings Park in Perth there is a memorial dedicated to soldiers that died in WWI and WWII... the flame burns as part of this memorial reminding us all the catastrophe that is war, while remembering and honouring the fallen...

thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

beautiful -- both the image and what it stands for. such wonderful strong lines - i never made it to king's park... don't know why and of course have been kicking myself ever since! :( wonderful photo here!
