thanks for all the kind comments about my first 100 photos and hope you will enjoy the next one I have to show you... this was taken back in 2005 and comes from the Rottnest Island, about 20km off WA shore... it is a beautiful little island - perfect for a day away where you can hire a bike and ride all around the place... this was taken on the side of the island that faces out to the open ocean... there are plenty of little spots here like this one where it is really easy to forget about the big city...

simply gorgeous! i never made it here -- almost! (but i guess that doesn't really count, right?) i made it to Karnak island though... just on sailboats and then into the shallows dinghies... but i was told there were heaps of poisonous sea snakes all throughout these waters... can you confirm that? still - looks to be a wonderful place to go! next time for sure! marvelous landscape / seascape and gorgeous sky!! :)

@dj.tigersprout: hmmmm... poisonous snakes I don;t know about, however, there are a few them around Western Australia so it could well be true... Rotto is perfect for one escapades so next time you visit, especially during our summer it is a great place to put on your list...
Fabulous beach view, so clear and crisp and bright. I love that cove curling outwards.

A very nice pciture from this incredible beach!! It's something absolutly cool. Here in Barcelona (Spain) we are plenty summer, i think i am going to swim in the monitor.
