it's winter?

just to show you all that it was indeed Winter on the previous two posts, here is a photo taken early next morning just after sunrise... it was nice and cold and a hot cup of "fortified" tea was in order next to the fireplace... the structure that you can just see creeping into the shot is a shelter comprising of some wooden bunk beds for walkers who wish to stay over night... there is also a bush toilet near by and plenty of space for tents...

@Bill Ault: in the summer here - i'd be sitting with just about no clothes on in the morning hehe... no such thing as a cold summer morning here in Western Australia (except the southern coast at times possibly)

I have to agree. Only the clothing looks wintery. You should try looking out of the window here. It's summer, a flat grey sky and the pitter patter of rain.

You have captured the crispy chill so well in this one. The tilted horizon bothers me though, as it seems things may slide right off the left of the frame.

@Tracey: hello Tracey! if you look at the orientation of the wooden pole on the right , the "toilet" sign behind the person or even the trees in the background you will notice that i have kept the perspective straight based on those objects... the tilted horizon is not my doing ;-)

I miss the season of Winter... don't really have it here in Florida... and miss even the landscape of home (Australia)... love camping... makes me want to go but it is just to hot right now..
