changing the scenery somewhat... this is one of the night photos that i took in the city of Lodz in Poland... this was taken at Plac Wolnosci and I even managed to catch a tram disappearing into the night... I quite like the warm yellowish light on the building...
thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

i agree -- the warm yellows add a nice and comforting touch to an otherwise possibly cold evening! great motion shot -- love the cool colors of the streetlight 'stars'!

That's a very good picture ;-) btw Plac Wolności (The Freedom Square?) is going to be completely rebuilt in 2010 ;-) It's going to have a roof...

you only took this shot with a powershot? unbelievable! great work man! I think if you used a smaller aperture(meaning higher f/number), the rays in those lights would be sharper..

@shoti: i agree with you - unfortunately the powershot S2 IS had a max aperture of f/8.0...
