road to yallingup

Posted by DarkElf (Perth, Australia) on 20 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

this photo comes from a place called Yallingup in the south west corner of Australia... it is a tiny village of may be a hundred or so houses - mostly private holiday dwellings overlooking the Indian Ocean... when one driver up there for the first time they go over a hill and then they get a view like this one when the road and terrain open up during descent....

i still vividly remember the first time i went there and the feeling of awe that engulfed me when i saw this magnificent place... i have been there many a time since...

welcome to my photoblog and thanks for visiting... my aim is to learn photography and share my experiences with you, not only through my attempts at photography, but also through showing different aspects of the world that have caught my interest over the time that i have been walking this planet... hope you enjoy the journey with me...
