one last photo from Birkenau to finish this series... given a lot of comments about b&w i have decided to post a different view at the Birkenau gate and main building... this is from behind ruins of houses/blocks at the camp to the side of the railway ramp...

for as long as this place stands it will always serve as a memory of all atrocities that took place during WWII...
