who painteth the sky?

hello everyone! i am back after my trip to Tasmania - it was absolutely wonderful and enjoyable and i hope to share some of it through my photos with you later on...

this time i present another Western Australian sunset - the colours and clouds were really amazing on this hot summer's evening back in 2006... it was hard to take my eyes off the sight that was unfolding before my eyes...

thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting... please critique at will - i am looking to learn so any comments and tips are appreciated...

I am reminded of my 2007 trip to Western Australia. We chose carefully where we would be at sunset each night. We saw several at Joondalup, once at the Pinnicles, one night at Augusta, one at Bunsbury, two ar Yellingpup. I hope that I have remembered the town names correctly. Thank you, this wonderful shot brings back pleasant memories.

The sky is shared by all of us. Somehow you have the most colorful part I think! Are you back from your trip? I'll bet you have some terrific photographs.

I hope you save room for one more, since I have a challenge ... Am3 (INTER-FAITH) HOLIDAY CHALLENGE: Photograph something archetypal in your world that shows your Holiday season as it is celebrated (Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or ???). Post it on January 1st, 2009!
