radegast at nightPosted by DarkElf (Perth, Australia) on 14 October 2009 in Transportation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- having returned to the city of Lodz in Poland earlier this year, i have decided to revisit the Radegast Station... I have already posted some photos from there but this is the first one taken at night... i have taken it very much from the ground level and the guards, who look after this place at night, were looking at me somewhat strangely... in case you are wondering, Radegast was a station during WWII where Jews were loaded onto trains consisting of cattle trucks (exactly the same trucks as the ones in the photo) and transported to various nazi death camps... welcome to my photoblog and thanks for visiting... my aim is to learn photography and share my experiences with you, not only through my attempts at photography, but also through showing different aspects of the world that have caught my interest over the time that i have been walking this planet... hope you enjoy the journey with me...
