Mount Magog

Stirling Ranges are about 70km north from Porongurups in Western Australia... they are a little bit higher at around 1000m and are quire rugged and wild in places, making hiking quite an experience...

I took this photo at the top of Mt Magog after a rather testing climb... nothing too extreme but it was soon after a brief rain and some of the rocks and paths were wet and slippery...

not sure who stacked the rocks there and why but this is what the view was like at the top... you can just see the Porongurup Ranges coming into view in the top right corner of the frame...
