continuing the journey through Tasmania - these are the Nelson Falls in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park... this will signal the start of a small series of photos from the Tasmanian rainforest and waterfalls...

i got very much perfect conditions for waterfall photos with overcast skies and no harsh sunlight to come through the trees...

still, these photos are far from perfect... there were places where i could have used a graduated filer if i had one to cover some highlights at the top... but it was still one of the steps along the way in my photographic learning experience and this was the first time i got to do some "serious" waterfall work happening and for what it's worth, i was thrilled with the results...
