Horseshoe Falls

Russell Falls cascade from quite a height as you could see in some of the previous photos... further upstream are the Horseshoe Falls - about 100 metres further, once you climb all the around and over the stream... less people actually get this far, preferring to concentrate on the larger falls... i really liked this area, though... it was quiet, peaceful and isolated from the main track...

i think this is one of the best photos i have taken so far, i definitely took my time here to get the composition and exposure right and i wanted to try to capture the falls in the context of the entire forest...
