illusive depth

when i was in KL, i also visited the Federal Mosque... we went there on a quiet day and the emptiness of the place allowed to really see the size of the building... it was very quiet and eerie inside...

i had an idea for this shot as i was walking around but it was not easy to compose or take - i had to decide whether to keep more detail in the shadows or in the highlights... in the end i went for the shadows and i hope it worked out alright... i had no chance to get my filters out and i am not a blending of exposure or HDR person...
