i took this photo at sunset from one of the platforms at the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area...
many people have complained about this spot in terms of the view and it not being suited to photographers... i actually found the view from here to be one of my favourites... the view of dark silhouette of Uluru at sunset was one of my more spiritual experiences during my visit... what added to it was that most of the people watch the sunset from the western side and there was almost no one there with just me, my partner, Uluru and total silence that added to the experience...
this also brings the an end the series from Uluru and Kata Tjuta... i hope you enjoyed the photos as much as i enjoyed taking them... i thoroughly recommend a visit to this fantastic place... do not be scared off by people saying its cliché and boring - i loved the place and it certainly felt quite special to be there!
i will certainly return there, both to enjoy the spiritual nature and to take more photos - hopefully with a cloud or two around next time ;-)
