this is one of the photos i took during the trip to New Zealand in March/April 2011... i will be posting a lot more photos from the trip later on in the year... this is just a small glimpse into this amazing place...

Champagne Pool is a feature in the Wai-O-Tapu geothermal area on the North Island... the water in the pool bubbles away at a cosy 75 degrees Celsius and the orange colour comes about from deposits of arsenic and antimony sulfides...
