sunset glow

i hope you have not grown tired of my seascapes - there are more on the way... this year i finally got some good chances to explore Burns Beach in Perth northern suburbs and it has provided me with some beautiful sights...

this is another series captured during one of those evenings...

i started utilising different filters more and more during the year and the one that i found most useful for sunsets was the Reverse Graduated Neutral Density Filter... it is perfect for the times when there is a bright band of light just over the horizon but the top of the frame remains dark...
