McLean Falls

one of my early favourite locations from the first part of travel through NZ were that McLean Falls... the 22-metre falls on the Tautuku River can be found in Catlins Forest Park... they drop down over a number of steps and terraces...

we were there during a reasonably rainy season so the green flora around the falls was very rich and lush and there was plenty of water coming down as well... if you look closely you might even see a slightly brownish hue in some place that is indicative of the mud washing down after the rain...
