through the light

during a morning walk through a forest around the Haast Pass we found some really nice light shining through the trees with very distinct beams clearly visible... one of the very rare occasions that i was able to witness such great light...

i processed this photo in Nik Silver Efex Pro as the contrast and tonal range looked to lend themselves well to monotone conversion... i will post a similar photo in colour soon...
