Jewish Cemetery

this is another place that i wanted to visit for a while and finally got to see it in 2012 - Jewish Cemetery in Łódź, Poland... this is the "new" cemetery located on Bracka Street, the old one was decimated during the Nazi occupation...

the Cemetery has been in place for over 100 years and is a resting place for many prominent local rabbis, fabricants, physicians, politicians, social activists etc... also buried here are victims of the Holocaust in the section of the cemetery called "Ghetto Field"...
