while i was was capturing the sunset in this and the previous photo, i was thinking about switching lenses to a wider one to get as much of the detailed rocky foreground as possible...

in the end i was glad i stayed with my trusty 24-105mm as i was able to utilise the long end of this lens and catch these intense colours...
