main range track

this is the Main Range Track in the Snowy Mountains on the way from Mt Kosciuszko towards Mt Carruthers...

the weather was perfect for the hike with blue sky, great clouds and amazing texture in the land all around us...

@franz: it's not really a pavement (although it does look like one)... a rubber mesh was placed over the path, i suspect, to ensure that it does not become to slippery during the Winter months...

Another great foreground that takes the eye through the frame. The path is interesting. Seems like a lot of work to do that up there.

Nothing can be more relaxing than starting a hiking day with a weather like this
