Acland Falls

Posted by
Darkelf Photography (Perth, Australia) on 22 June 2014 in Landscape & Rural.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this lovely waterfall can be found in the Peel Forest Park on the South Island of New Zealand... they are located at the end of the Acland Falls walking track... they are not the biggest waterfalls you will find but they are located in a beautiful spot...

at the end of the track we reached a small stream and when we thought there was nothing else to see, we saw a natural tunnel covered entirely by tree branches that led to the falls... there they were hiding in a wonderful and secluded spot, where we could get really close to them...
