visiting Kyoto was definitely a must and so was visiting the Fushimi Inari Shrine when we were there in April this year...

hearing about it is one thing but actually walking through the path under thousands of torii gates is something entirely different and very special... it was very hard to find a moment of peace, with many people visiting during the peak of the cherry blossom season but a bit of patience paid of in the end...
