on the way back from Japan we had about three hours to wait for a connecting flight at Singapore Airport... this gave us enough time to explore this huge and impressive place... one of its hidden gems can be found in Terminal 3 - the Butterfly Garden... it is fantastic and i spent at least an hour chasing and photographing butterflies... just be prepared for the sudden burst of hot and humid air as you walk out from the air-conditioned interior... not to mention the fogging up of lenses...
