call the ships to port

the evening at the Sculptures by the Sea ended with a spectacular sunset... i was trying to find some rocks for a seascape photo when i remembered this sculpture... it was standing a bit further away from all the others and this meant that it was likely to be ignored by most of the visitors... it was standing there like a fiery beacon with the sunset colours, calling all the ships to port...

"tonight we light the fires
we call our ships to port
tonight we walk on water
and tomorrow we'll be gone..."
