fading away

North Beach lookout in Perth - another one of those locations that i like to visit at least once a year to see if i can improve on my compositions... this year i particularly explored long exposure photography and the dreamy moods that it can often capture...

i took this photo back in late August and i called it "fading away" for a couple of reasons... one being the quickly fading evening light and the second because you can see the early signs of the change in seasons - Aussie Winter fading away into Spring - the moss is slowly dying away and turning white on some of the rocks...

and as the year is also slowly coming to the end, this is my last post for 2014... to anyone who celebrates i would like to wish Merry Christmas, to all others i wish happiness and peace wherever you are, and to all of you i wish all the best for the upcoming New Year 2015! i hope it brings you a lot of joy and good health, as well as plenty of great photographic opportunities!

i look forward to catching up with you on Am3 in 2015!
