One perfect sunrise that I was hoping for during my January trip to the East Coast of Australia happened at the Bogey Hole in Newcastle. Bogey Hole is the tidal pool that you can see in the photo. When I arrived in the darkness, I could just about spot the first hints of very faint colour and my hopes were instantly raised. Indeed, I was not disappointed. Being there all by myself well past the sunrise hour allowed me to explore this location and capture this amazing morning.
