fragment of memory

The old basalt quarry on the Bombo headland in Kiama. One of the most weird, abstract and amazing places. As usual, I was hoping for a better morning colour wise, however, I have learned along my photographic journey that any conditions are good for photography if you can just open your mind enough and look for different opportunities.

I like the misty water that added an ethereal effect to the scene and the basalt stacks looked like fragments of past memories left behind to remind us of what has come to pass.
