Cascade Falls

Cascade Falls walk trail in Macquarie Pass National Park in New South Wales is a rewarding short track that culminates at the Cascade Falls. We enjoyed a walk through the rainforest on an overcast morning, after the rain. This made the foliage glow with water still on the leaves and the air was beautifully fresh and crisp.

I took some long exposures because in addition to the waterfall, I found interest in the gentle whirlpool that appeared in the water pond and wanted to capture that movement of the water.
