Descent To Another World

Posted by
Darkelf Photography (Perth, Australia) on 17 June 2016 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Stockholm is a great city. It has great culture and history. For example, The great Vasa naval ship of the 17th Century sank after only about 20 minutes of sailing, just off the coast, as it was setting out to strike a blow in the war against Poland. Talk about empty threats!

Still, the biggest gem is the Stockholm Tunnelbana - the metro, the underground. The stations are carved out of pure rock and painted and decorated in an amazing fashion. This is Solna Centrum station - something that I would expect to see descending into Hell while playing the original Doom game on my PC. I have to say - photos make it look especially amazing and I hope you like this one.
