The Spa Pool at Wyadup Rocks in the south west region of Western Australia is a popular location with tourists and photographers.

On a beautiful calm day, it is just like a pool - still, green and peaceful. During stormy days and high seas it becomes a cauldron for the forces of nature to mix into and create havoc.

On the evening when I took this photo it was right in between the two extremes. Not angry enough to cause danger but just with enough overflow to add a good element of motion in the foreground.

Not the most technically correct photo I took, but then what I care most often for at the moment is the mood and atmosphere of the scene.
