Canola Fields Forever

Golden canola fields, near York in Western Australia, stretch as far as the eye can see towards the horizon.

The outback landscape becomes transformed during August every year. The golden fields add such brilliance to the scenery. You can spot them form miles away as you drive, with glimpses of wonderful yellow plants teasing your senses and imagination.

We were doing some exploratory drives last two weekends to find good spots for the future. The weather was especially good the first time around. Some more clouds would be welcome but still the blue sky and golden/yellow canola go together very well.
