Svartifoss (Black Falls) is a waterfall in Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park in Iceland. Its main feature are the dark lava columns, which gave rise to its name.

Nothing too complicated about this photo. We visited during the day, which allowed to see the wonderful detail in the basalt columns and surroundings.

The waterfall is easy to get to and very popular, as is the entire Skaftafell area. I hope to explore this place a little more during the golden hour next time we go to Iceland.
