Nature's Window

One of Western Australia's most recognisable natural attractions - Nature's Window in Kalbarri National Park. It is absolutely amazing to see the natural shapes that nature can conjure up through centuries of wind and rain erosion.

We visited not long after Winter back in 2014 and there was still water flowing through Murchison River. In Summer the river bed becomes dry and I think it takes a little bit away from the beauty of this place.

I took this photo in the late afternoon as I wanted to take advantage of the warm light and the effect it had on bringing out the rich hues of the red rocks and soil.
