I am jumping a little bit from season to season here. One moment it is the Spring canola fields from Western Australia, the next it is a rainy Autumn photo from Łódź in Poland. I have seen new Autumn photos pop up from the Northern Hemisphere and I thought it would be a good moment to return to our trip to Europe last year.
This image comes from one of the many parks in Łódź - Park Źródliska. It was a cold, windy and rainy day with even a touch of snow here and there. Regardless of the weather, we were committed to walking through local parks in search of Autumn moods. As you can see, besides us fools, there was no one else about in this weather.
Despite to cold, I just loved the early Autumn foliage. The wet path with scattered leaves caught my eye for this composition and in between wiping the rain drops off the lens, I took some shots that I was very pleased with. A large canvas version of this photo hangs proudly in my parents living room :-)
